After: 1.5m Walkway provides enough space to work around the cylinders
Problem
The bucket tilt cylinder change out in the L1850 Loaders implied risks of falls or injuries because there was not any way to access the cylinders safely.
Solution
A platform was designed, fabricated and certified to access and replace the bucket tilt cylinders. The use of this platform allows maintainers to complete the task quicker and safer because most of the risks associated with working at heights are eliminated.
