Problem
The routine inspection of the rectifiers on the Terex MT4400 AC was unable to be fully completed without exposing maintainers to a fall from heights hazard.
Solution
A section of handrail was designed and fabricated to cover the gap in the existing handrail. This will remove the fall from heights hazard and allow the maintainers to fully complete the inspection of the rectifiers.
