793 Access Platform

Problem
The work area under the tray on the CAT trucks (793D & 793F) was hard to access and exposed maintainers to fall hazards because a proper access & fall protective device had not been designed for this area.
Solution
A platform was designed and fabricated to allow the accessing to the work area in a safer and easier manner. This platform is also equipped with a guardrail system that includes lockable guardrails to the opposite side of the access area.
