L1850 Access Platform

When conducting maintenance activities on the Letourneau loaders in the workshop we were only able to access the machine using the original ladders. These ladders are narrow and steep which made climbing onto the machine while carrying tools or parts difficult.

After suggestions from the truck maintenance crews we have designed and fabricated two platforms to access both left and right sides of the machine. The new platforms significantly reduce the potential for maintainers to trip or slip while conducting maintenance activities.
